Khakhra is a low calorie snack having a delightful taste and is a perfect ‘5’o clock snacking option’ which can replace fried snacks. It is a staple breakfast for the Gujarati diasporas, but is now consumed by many asian communities.
Apply a layer of ghee (clarified butter) and microwave for about 30 seconds, can also sprinkle chat masala, sugar, red chilli powder. Also tastes great with green chutney, garlic chutney etc.
